Moving on to La Serena

Made 560 miles today along route 5

Man, this continent is large! We did manage to stop by the Mano de Desierto.

But there is a whole lot of this in northern Chile.

I’ve seen a lot of pickup trucks here too along with roadside reminders of why you don’t want to fall asleep at the wheel

We finally got a change of scenery at Chañaral

And stopped at La Serena for the night.
