Technical computer stuff on a motorcycle adventure website? Yeah I know, but I thought there could be a few travelers out there that would like to have their own website and being that I looked into some of the different options, why not list what I'm using. I’m not going to go into all the details here; that will be a future post.
Moto-Treks is put together using the following tools.
- Content Management System (CMS) – Joobla! 1.5.x
and the following extensions:- Comments – !JoomlaComment
- SEF (search engine friendly) URLs – sh404SEF by Yannick Gaultier
- Google Maps – Plugin Googlemaps by Mike Reumer
- Photo Gallery – ZenPhoto
All this is hosted by BlueHost using:
- Apache
- PHP5
- MySQL
