Party Ticket

As Luck would have it, I found myself in Genoa Italy during the World Ducati Week 2007. After a few emails to Ducati I was heading down to the factory in Bologna to pick up a Multistrada 1100 and meet some co-workers for the weekend.

This nice narrow section of road winds down one of the many hillsides on my way to Rimini. The ride was like this: Follow the twisties down into the valley, wind through a town or two, climb another set of curves to the top of the next hill, repeat as needed, arrive in Rimini.

I stopped to look at the map and decide just how much time I had to explore the country side. Italy is an amazing country to ride in. I've spent time in the Italian Alps, Tuscany, and now outside Bologna. Each location has fabulous riding!

Villages, like this one at the top of the hill, beckoned me to stop and explore. Unfortunately, it had taken longer to finalize the bike rental then I had planned, so I was running late.

I finally made it to the Party on the Red Plant.

This could be you if you bought a ride on the two seat Desmosedici, piloted by Randy Mamola.

This guy had a different idea of how to make a Ducati fast!

Bike Bling. And yes, that's fueled with Red Bull!

My friends from Denmark examine their next Ducati...we are getting older!

The last event of WDW2007 was the drawing for a new Hypermotard 1100.
