Casa Don David is on the eastern shore of the lake, closer to Tikal than Flores. The rooms are basic and have hot water, but IIRC are about 25 bucks a night.
David and his family and most employees all speak English. No free wifi, but they have a computer with internet that you can use for free. The restaurant is pretty good as well. The beer is cold. highly recommended.
